Our story

From a chef's kitchen in Bronzeville

R.J.C. Sausage Company is part of Rome's Joy Companies, the Bronzeville family of businesses Chef Cliff Rome founded in 2000. With more than 30 years in food service, Chef Rome worked at Spago, studied culinary arts in Paris, and from 1998 to 2003 was one of five chefs selected to cook at the Cannes International Film Festival's American Pavilion.

Today the Rome's Joy family includes Peach's restaurants, Rome's Joy Catering, Parkway Social, Blanc Art Gallery and the Mise en Place hospitality training program, all rooted in the historic Bronzeville community. R.J.C. brings that same chef's standard to a chicken sausage made right here in Bronzeville.
